How to Install New Themes and Skins in Ableton Live 10?

For Windows

  1. Download the Skin zipped file, it should be located in your Downloads folder.
  2. Unzip and extract the files from the folder
  3. Open the unzipped folder, select all the files with Ctrl + A and copy them with Ctrl + C.
  4. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live x Version\Resources\Themes (Windows 7 and up)* or C:\Program Files\Ableton\Live\Resources\Themes (older Windows) and paste the skins in with Ctrl + V.
  5. Open Live, locate the Look/Feel tab and choose your preferred skin from the Themes drop-down list.
  6. Enjoy your new Skin and Theme in Ableton Live!

For Mac OS

  1. Download the Skin zipped file, it should be located in your Downloads folder.
